We love seeing new work from our friends. If you’d like to submit work to the Objective Scenes blog, please add your image to the OS Flickr group. Remember, all photos must be shot and edited with an iPhone, Android device, Razr, or similar mobile device. Adding the device and apps used to your photos description is also a big help for us.

“Rings” by Ohad Ben-Yoseph
An effective use of the tilt-shift effect by Ohad Ben-Yoseph. Found via the Objective Scenes Flickr group.
“From the Terrace (Explored!)” by Jose Vazquez
I’m so impressed with this photo by Jose Vazquez. He say’s “Central Park’s Bethesda Fountain from underneath the terrace during our first winter snowstorm. Taken with my iPhone4s. Processed using Snapseed and picfx.”

“The Umbrella Murmurs…” by Christopher Smith
Here’s a stellar scene of a rainy night in San Francisco by Christopher Smith, who used PictureShow for editing. Found via the Objective Scenes flickr group.
“untitled” by debinsf
debinsf has shared a lot of great experimental shots in our Objective Scenes flickr group, but this one really tugged at the Gameboy-loving-nerd in me. Also, I’m pretty sure it uses the new Doctor Ocular filter, which will be available with the next update.
After & Before by Ariel Dovas
Love the colors and the lighting in this photo by Ariel Dovas… but really I’m a sucker for any pics of alcohol.

“despair” by Hochlander
More fantastic work from the prolific iPhone artist, Hochlander. This piece was created using Camera+, Anticrop, Juxtaposer, Decim, Filterstorm, and Snapseed. Looks like time well spent!

“Dots Girl” by Ale Di Gangi
A great experimental image by Ale Di Gangi, from Mixed-Up, his iPhone art exhibition. We also posted this FANTASTIC airport shot of Ale’s a few months back.

“in the city of the future it is difficult to concentrate.” by Shalaco
“Fire Walk With Me”
Another great shot by Jeremy Brooks. I love the composition of this shot, especially how the writing on the bike doesn’t pop out right away. Also dig the bent handlebars, which I first mistook for a fisheye effect.

“Who Loves You?” by Jeremy Brooks
Jeremy Brooks posted this earthy picture on our Objective Scenes flickr group. I love how he’s taking advantage of the extreme closeup to blow out the focus on the background.
“All Dressed Up” by Brad Evans
I love this Hipstamatic image that Brad Evans caught in SF’s Excelsior district. Check out Brad’s Citysnaps blog for more great street shots.

“Tears From Heaven” by Hochlander
Found this cool experimental image in the Objective Scenes flickr group. Here’s what Hochlander has to say about how they made it:

Shower Edit Challenge
Last week I posted one of my raw iPhone photos of the model Panfila Suarez and asked you guys to take a crack at editing it. Thanks to everyone who sent us their edits (below). The photo above is the black and white edit at the suggestion of my friend Troy. I think it may be my favorite of my own personal edits.

Jeremiah 33:3 by David Ingraham
Found this great collage by David Ingraham on the Objective Scenes flickr pool. David describes his process:
Started with a B&W Hipstamatic shot of a guy going down an escalator, tweaked it in Snapseed, then ran it through PictureShow app, using the MultiExposure effect, added some light-leak effects, then looked up the verse on my phone, took a screen shot of it, ran it through Scratchcam, then mixed it into the shot using Blender, then added a darker version of the same lettering, and offset it a bit so the lettering would look embossed or 3D, then mixed that all together in Blender as well, then added the faintest of frames via Pixlromatic app.
