Lezziegrams photowalk in SF this Saturday
Instagram user @lezziegrams is organizing an Instagram themed photowalk in San Francisco this Saturday, June 25th. The photowalk will start at Noon in Dolores Park, before the Dyke March. Follow @lezziegrams on Instagram for more details.

#instawalksj this weekend
Got the head’s up from Blake at Keepsy about an upcoming Instawalk in San Jose:
We had such a great time last weekend at both the San Francisco and Oakland #instawalks that we decided it’s time to do one in the South Bay.
Join us on Sunday 6/26 at San Jose City Hall at 1pm (corner of 4th and Santa Clara) for some photo fun and some after-shooting fun at a local TBD drinking establishment.
We’ll post updates as the date nears on this blog, as well as in our @keepsy Instagram feed.

Pics from InstawalkSF through Chinatown
I had a great time at Saturday’s InstawalkSF through Chinatown. It was our biggest group yet, and might have been my favorite photowalk yet! Thanks to Photojojo for co-organizing the event and for bringing all those awesome mobile phone fisheye lenses for folks to use. I met a bunch of cool people and got some decent photos. I really dug meeting up at The Empress of China for drinks after the walk. That was a lucky find and I can’t wait to go back!

Location Location Location!
This was the fist shot I took during our February 2nd Instawalk to Sausalito. It was a rainy day, and I thought the walk was going to be a disaster. The walk turned out to be fantastic and the rainy weather resulted in some fantastically moody shots! Lesson learned.
BTW, don’t forget about tomorrow’s Instawalk in San Francisco’s Chinatown. I can’t wait to see what sort of shots people come up with. The folks at Photojojo created this Facebook event page with more details.
June 11th Instawalk in San Francisco’s Chinatown District
An Instawalk is an Instagram themed photo walk. Users are encouraged to shoot, process, and upload their photos as the walk is happening. If you haven’t done one yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a really bizarre experience to be seeing what your fellow photographers are seeing as the walk is happening.
Our next Instawalk in San Francisco is June 11th. We’ll meet at 11am at Dragon’s Gate (the cool sculpture at Bush and Grant St). Then we’ll walk through Chinatown for a couple of hours before ending up at a bar, where we’ll share iPhone photography tips.
As an extra bonus, we’ve teamed up with Photojojo for this Instawalk. They’ll be bringing 20 of their iPhone lenses (including the popular Fisheye lens) to lend out to our group for the walk. I know they’ll have some additional goodies with them too!
